yet I hope it won't be only self-incensating and will feature also stuff about the several controversies in the rac scene.
It is very detailed history of UK scene most of all. I don't know how much USA chapters will add, but original self published book, it was already HUGE. Size similar to Club Moral book. It didn't include interviews with any of the big names of genre, but often looked from perspective of fans, people who were involved, smaller bands etc. Countless testimonies from people who tell their story, how they got involved, what did they do, etc. Amusing or curious incidents. Original book started from '79, with first RAC titled gigs and ends with ISD's death. Lots of rare gig posters, flyers, photos etc. In foreword it mentioned that all the key players had promised to take part, but didn't. I'd suppose that after first edition, lots of people are more willing to share stories. But already as it is, it's huge and barely possibilities to expand without book getting out of hand..
That original edition was ltd 300 and sold directly by author.
I was told same people are working with C18 related book. That would be interesting as well.
There is book by Searchligh called "White Power Music: Scenes of Extreme-Right Cultural Resistance". 130 pages. So dry academic studies, that it will be most of all annoying book to read. But perhaps few nuggets of information from opposite angle.
