THREAD CONTINUOUSLY UPDATED, SEE LAST POST FOR NEWS.Zalhietzli is a solo project I had in mind for several years. Experiments in ambiant, noise, drone, industrial, no wave... I use effect pedals, loopers, drummachine and tape collages.
"Sainte Rita" is my first release, from september 2011. This should ring a bell for the fans of Swans, Tribes of Neurot, Sunn O))), Monno, Fuck Buttons, and the like.
A new release called "Two Songs, 2012" should be available in september 2012 on tape. Those two new tracks are drastically different from each other. "The Sickening Trophy" is an attempt at making a rock song without any rock instrument, and "Chemtrails Over Rainforest" is a semi-improvised jam of cold, blissful drone/ambient.
Those two releases are available through my
BANDCAMP page for free streaming and download. The "Sainte Rita" tape is sold out, so for those interested I am making a CDr compilation of those two first Zalhietzli releases. This comp will serve as a promotional support, so it should be available at a small price, or come free with large orders made through my label Zugzwang Productions.
