A tape from two artists as different as chalk and cheese in terms of nearly everything: age, experience, origin, and, most important of all, approach to art noise. Something they have in common, though, is their love for trance, but even there you may find differences in how they look at that ageless sacredness in art. While THE HATERS consistently uses repetition, apparently his vehicle for sparking off the trance, LA CYANESCENCE (until recently known as REJET) achieves the effect through sonic dispersion, in which some might find chaos of the psychedelic kind. The young French composer wallows in juggling antimusical material, exposing its multi-coloured nature and remarkable plasticity. This is an interesting meeting of two artists alien to each other yet so essential for grasping fully the phenomenon of trance in bruitism. Both are bound to reach deep down to the bottom of your consciousness and subconsciousness, each of them availing himself of different means to do so.
