Yesterday was listening older Origami Galaktika "Stjernevandring" LP and wondering apart from one Norwegian guy, who has mentioned works of Origami Republica on SI forum... or anywhere?! That LP was ok, but nothing too amazing. Bought it years ago for 3,50 USD from record store in USA, just for being cheap. Space-ambient, with lots of easy synth droning, but some better stuff on b-side.
But there is also noise stuff under Origami.

Seems like main man responsible for this group in now located in Spain? About 10 years ago, Origami seemed to put out endless amount of projects, and what I can now see, it's most of all files uploaded online? 2005 seems some kind of turning point to releases regress into CDR and file formats.

Who's listening Origami related noises? Latest what I got was "Merzbow in hands of Origami" CD on Segerhuva. Now when I listened few songs from ORIGAMI REPLIKA's "If only the fans were half as good as the band" (collection of semi crappy live & rehearsals), I can understand why CDR and file format would be suitable....

Yeah the original Origami guy Tore H. Bøe lives in Tenerife if I'm not mistaken.
Origami Republika is still active and I think they're planning new stuff / gigs. Formation varies a lot, plus in Norway there are countless Origami-something projects. There's a list here: http://origami.teks.no/2/2.2/index.html
I have seen a few Origami-related gigs but I don't think I own any material besides Origami Erotika/Gerogerigegege split.
