When I listen to the 2008 CDR of AOD, I am pretty sure I can see subtle occasional "vinyl" pops and clicks - so maybe CDR is just a digitised LP already (just not well done), rather than anything that can be considered a master? Although in this case I am not sure why tracklist is different from LP.

I do not know, but I suspect, that why it is not reissued, could have something to do with LP having parts of songs that are illegal to distribute and perform in Germany.

The master issue definitely makes sense, but if this is the case, maybe someone outside of Germany should take it upon themselves to do it. GW has stated before that there's no "copyright" to their work and anyone is free to reproduce it as they see fit, so it seems that that rare opportunity should be utilized if there are alternate ways of remedying a potential lack of a high-quality source.
