Finally some time ago was reissued legendary, but still almost unheard material by band called Gagarin Kombinaatti. Active in '83-85. Most notable member was Mika Vainio, later famous as member of Panasonic, Pan Sonic and his solo work.
These early works hardly have surfaced to listeners ears, but for example one track was published on compilation CD of older Finnish experimental music 10 years ago.

Material of the double LP is collection from archives and I don't how much material they produced during those years, so is this all existing good tracks or if there would be more. Material is very much in tradition of such era. Rough sound, lots of percussion, radio noise, few synth patterns, samples, some odd vocals... Somewhere in Test Dept, NON, SPK, type of realms, but more in sonic quality what one could expect emerge from industrial-noise tape scene.

Because album was released by Sähkö label's Puu series, my assumption is that it is unlikely that these surface to many noise distros, but it could be good to check out it before too late. A lot of Sähkö vinyl is not available for long time.

This is absolutely fantastic. Never heard of this stuff, but I'm only half way through this album and already I know I'm going to be picking this up on vinyl at some point.

Fucking hell, many songs seem excellent according to YouTube. Ordered the 2LP from evil LevykauppaX!

just bought this yesterday, on spec, in London.
listened this am and was much impressed.
tones and textures are indeed part of the 80's sound palette of spk, non, etc
also more stripped down and can be seen as Panasonic precursor in this light-rhythmic in non techno way that early Panasonic were
worth checking out.
could easily have come out on VOD to be snapped up

Thanks a lot for recommendation. Managed to buy it for a reasonable price from a Discogs seller. After the first two listening session I can say that I like this a lot!

Very good stuff indeed. The only downside is that there is no info, liner notes or anything about these recordings. For 'historical' release like this I'd love to read some background history etc. It is possibly the Sähkö Recordings visual style, because every release I've seen from them are just as minimal in information.

info-
like you say, sahko minimal style, but add f/a info likely best background
