I assume I can't be the only one that listens to this stuff. What are some that you hold in regards if you do? The more ethnic influences in Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, and groups like Esplendor Geometrico are obvious innovators, but there was a slew of interesting and somewhat obscure recordings in the 80's, and related stylings have continued in places into the recent years. Here are some projects that have interested me:
Metgumbnerbone
Zero Kama
Omala
Vasilisk
Tam Quam Tabala Rasa
Nigredo
Rapoon
Mnemonists
GLOD
Lashtal
Nightmare Lodge
Internal Fusion
Hybryds
Raksha Mancham
Exotoendo
Deutsch Nepal
Delerium
Crash Worship
Cordis Cincti Serpente
Archon Satani
Combative Alignment
In Slaughter Natives
Lapis Niger
Halo Manash
Zoat-Aon
Sun God
Sephiroth
Phurpa
Bitter Harvest
Cut Hands
Tabor Radosti
There are a lot more. Some are more industrial, or noisy than others. Some are more rhythmic, whereas some are more on the ambient end. I figure this is a good list to start with if anyone is curious but isn't very familiar. A few links below (I'll post more later as I have time, or inspiration to do so).
