During 2024 I was thinking about sending email to some of the noise veterans who have always been among my favorites and asking them about doing album on Freak Animal. Then started to think when came out their best album, or something amazing, and quickly realized no matter how big fan I may be, truth is some of them had made their best works already 20-30 years ago and nothing after that was as good. To further underline this, I received advance recording of "Caveman Jenkem", collaboration of Rotat and Edge of Decay. I was amazed how good it was, even if I could expect it to be good. It just proved that vitality of current Finnish noise scene makes these artists come up with better and better albums and instant CD release offer was made. As a result, we got some of the best harsh-industrial-noise out there on c. 40 minute release. Machines, tools, chains, metal, broken glass and many very traditional elements utilized with skill and vision. FA-CD-176
