Are meldy Peaches from Netherlands?

Thought so

fin de siècle

THE MELDY PEACHES are from Tilburg connected to VATICAN ANALOG collective with FRANZ FJÖDOR (now residing in Berlin) and Steffan de Turck a.k.a. STAPLERFAHRER as their most talented members. Worth to mention here is also the doomy harshnoise project THE JIM MORRISONS, who were active only for 2 years around 2007/08, but who have done some impressive performances all over The Netherlands during that time.

MELDY PEACHES are from Tilburg / Nijmegen. But they are not part of Vatican Analog anymore since 2010, just as a few others.

The most important figure in Vatican Analog was VINCENT KOREMAN who founded it and did most of the work organising shows etc.. in the beginning. But Vincent did a step back in 2009 to focuss on other things like the Incubate Festival. Vatican Analog is leading a rather sleeping existence...

I met member of THU-20 in Holland yesterday and he mentioned Monochrome (rus) is working on release of oldest of their works. I'm very curious to hear that!

In addition to some of the projects mentioned there's definitely a lot more going on, though for a large part at no particular 'scene' level (or, if speaking for myself at least, at any professional level, some exceptions of course). In addition to my own projects (horsing, Panic, Immaculate Affection)  there's quite a few projects by friends such as Jelle, who does Ikodora '65, Chantal + runs Muzikaal Kabaal; Dennis, who currently does TRAITORS (recent tape on Kafkex) and also has done plenty other things including Sendot Sklin, Granuloma Inguinale; then there's a lot of projects from mates like IMG_9401/Schraepsol, Fyarl/Rabbit Rape, nènè and Solak.

Other things that spring to mind are the great Svartvit (+ UN/Unsolved Deaths), Doornen/Neurotic Envelope, Machinefabriek (mostly drone and ambient, but occasional noisy ventures), Orphax, Doodshoofd, De Hondenkoekjesfabriek, Fever Spoor, and quite a lot more... let me do some thinking.

Isn't this common perception? Where people that are involved, don't see the scene - but it exists in minds of outside observer? Many people over here, seem like they consider themselves slightly "outsiders" or not part of the "hardcore of the scene", but when this is pretty much everybody's perception, I think as result they become members in a way.

Older Dutch stuff I only became fully conscious after seeing him mentioned in Pain Jerk's top-10 essentials in past issue of SI magazine is Dick Raaijmakers. Bought his multiple CD box set compiling stuff from 50's to onwards. Wrote something about it in some topic of forum.. Electro-acoustic or musique concrete? If you know nothing, maybe the 3rd link decent to start with. 1961 recordings not so far from noise or dark ambient.
