These days it tends to be common situation, that anytime there is URL on older cd, or there is link at discogs artist page, those pages are gone. Long gone.

While listening to ConDemek "Technological Shack Job" CD, I found quite funny the long URL printed on the disc label. Went to check out discogs page what all they have released and found like to a bit newer website. This website was still online. latest news was the mentioned CD, that came in 1997 or so. Site includes band info, discography info, some details of VHS releases including stills. Also christian phonesex info page (songs on that theme makes about half of "Technological Shack Job" album). Site has the charming old stylee "did it myself" HTML code layout:

I have feeling as if this was still quite recently old style lay-out was it? Now, it is still the real website, but easier to navigate. Music section include more details for Nightmarish "Utrecht" and "Pompeji" albums. Both are out of print and then appeared on the Galakthorrö label:

In times when most use the ready made templates and social media, its curious to visit the old style websites. Helixes site has some dead links and missing photos, but also fully functional websites of Aural Hypnox and related:

and of course, ruthless self promotion for:

Con-Dom had a website once, which had a download of an "interview" he did with himself. I recall it started, "Con-Dom is the somethingorother. IS the power, IS the passion". On the site he made some thing about how having it in some kind of Microsoft format wasn't a sell out. I wish I still had that audio, it was great. He had this bit where he started to allude that older people didn't understand what he was about, then went on that "at the risk of contradicting myself", he allowed older people understood a lot more than he allowed. I loved how honest that was.

Also remember the Smell & Quim site, with its lexicon of Northern English terms and phrases and other shit. Where did that go? I had a look but was too drunk to find it.

I don't know how long Stephane from Nuit et brouillard/ Force majeure/ Deadly actions has had his website active, but at least it's been easy for 10 years or more. Maybe this fit in the thread.

I think Brainwashed needs a mention here, as they've been online since 1996. I guess they are mostly known for hosting websites for artists from the World Serpent sphere, but there's a lot more... Organum, Cabaret Voltaire, Christoph Heemann / HNAS/ Mirror, and the list goes on.  http://brainwashed.com/

Another site of similar age is Esophagus.com although most of the artist's pages they were hosting seem to have gone offline. There's still some stuff on Aube and Daniel Menche though.

I visit this site occasionally when I'm bored. All the old Pure Stench interviews. Coma Detox, HH, BU, IOPS, tons of others.

The homepage of The Noiseist zine from France has been mentioned again in the forum but I guess it would be relevant to the current topic also since it's still online even though was last updated in October 2003. The images cannot be displayed anymore but the interviews as well as the rest of the content are still available:
