Looking for 'ritual PE'

Was going to say Golden Purifier is indeed top tier. Any stuff like it is appreciated, and even rougher!

RxAxPxE was also enjoyable, remember them from a collaboration with Ride for Revenge. Bringing up black metal; I guess my vision is something like Ildjarn, but entirely PE, no black metal in there?

Ildjarn does incorporate ambient tracks on the bm albums.  I think he also did fully ambient works?

I'm referring to early Ildjarn of course ;). Ambient Ildjarn is rather boring imo. Always thought his BM era sounded like what an evil Scandinavian goblin would sound like or like to orchestrate.

I've never listened to the fully ambient Ildjarn, actually.  haha

I never cared for the self-titled because it always felt too boring to me (or, at very least, I was not in the right mindset for it), so I dread to think what actually boring Ildjarn must be!

I second Golden Purifier and obviously the Fanaticism tapes, which are all great, but I wouldn't consider any of these as Power Electronics. Sarin Snow could be a good example, but rather "Deus Vult" than the titles mentioned in the original post, which are more dark ambient (and, in my opinion, more boring). Shift's "Creation & Space" is also quite ritualistic and, in some aspects, can be classified as power electronics (but it's rather industrial drone/ambient music for me). Another ritualistic extreme noise (also here, not exactly power electronics) with massive ritualistic elements is "Ritual Totemic Stone" from Sam Kinley's project Ba. Ku.. Really evil stuff. Maybe stuff like Dagda Mor? Even though this is more heathen/ariosophic/"solar", I discovered it (thanks to some suggestions on this forum) when I wanted to listen to more "spiritually pregnant" power electronics and it fitted my taste quite well.

Brighter Death Now often has vibes that I might call ritualistic or even mystical sounding - but the aesthetic of like a Zero Kama is wholly absent, solely and subjectively referring to the sounds.

Definitely not the pure PE you're looking for I'm sure, but its a flavor of BDN I rarely hear mentioned.

Maybe stuff like Dagda Mor? Even though this is more heathen/ariosophic/"solar", I discovered it (thanks to some suggestions on this forum) when I wanted to listen to more "spiritually pregnant" power electronics and it fitted my taste quite well.

Personal interest is more in the circle of ancient religion than occultism, so Dagda Mor does raise attention. What thread was this in or were the other suggestions?

From the description of the kind of sound you're looking for, I think stuff like P.A.L or Winterkälte and such Ant-Zen type rhythmic noise could be it. Does it have a "ritual" vibe? I'm not sure and it's also not really PE, but it does have hypnotic tribalistic drums mixed with noisy textures. Z'EV and Sleep Chamber are two projects that could also be relevant for you. Again, not strictly PE, but from your description maybe worth checking out nonetheless.

I don't remember in which thread these suggestions have been posted, but you can easily find the compilation "The border of light" which is a good starting point. The full-length on Tesco is also excellent.

Make it yourself. Lots of great projects started because everything out there wasn't quite satisfying them in the way they wanted.
