Know these Finns aren't exactly noise. More in the spectrum of avant punk, shouted vocals very loose structure and always at the edge of total collapse. Seems like they had a very limited interest in the US around the early to mid nineties, but I think far to atonal and rough around the edges to appeal to the rock communities. I can't find any real info online, almost all of it is written in Finnish. Thanks for any info

Most people in Finland should know them. I would say it is the fact that vast majority of "old farts" of Finnish noise & PE are big fans (Grunt, Pain Nail, Bizarre Uproar, etc etc).
Huge element of band is the lyrics. I would say that it is crucial to know the absurdity what band sings to fully appreciate what it is really about. Classic time really is the 7"s, but band hardly did anything bad. Perhaps the sort of re-union tape that came out couple years ago was no longer the same. Being done with so much more "normal" sound quality, songs no longer had the demented sonic element, despite lyrics/music itself was ok.

Just listened to a bit on line. My kind of slop. Rough style.

What are the records to look for?

Good band but haven't managed to buy any records even though known the band for like 10 years.

The first touch with the band was when I and a couple of my friends were barely 18 years old and Lehtisalo of Circle used to drive us to see some Black / Death Metal gigs from Pori to Tampere. One night we were getting back to Pori and others were sleeping at the back seat I got one hour monologue from Jussi about how great band Liimanarina is, a compilation CD playing in the background. Quite a experience to boy whom musical taste was only and only Black and Death Metal at the time, hehe..

Thank you for the reply Mikko, I haven't gotten a chance to see the lyrics yet (the LP I ordered is stuck somewhere in the US postal service) but I've heard they are surrealist and rather humorous. Their name translated to glue lake or something to that effect I've read?

@wyngarde
The CD on drag city (spermarket) is easy to come by cheap on discogs (it contains lyrical translations as well). The 7", which seem to be the gems are a bit more expensive, though a compilation has been released containing all 3 on one LP

Also there are several live recordings of the band from 2011 on YouTube, they still sound great
