Was listening to Brume / La Nomenklatur split LP from late 80's is not noise, but adventurous experimental-industrial. LN flanger vocal assaults are great here. Not long ago I was thinking who is making this type of stuff, that is noisy at times, but also industrial, and perhaps even more just blends into... hmm "electronics music". Not dance beats, no synth wave, etc. In other ways electronic.
Then happened to listen new Infektionsabteilung "Hier Ist Kein Trost" CD other day and thinking this project does qualify! At times it's almost like Finnish project Will Over Matter, some MB etc.. but some tracks are electronic music that could have been made 30 years ago, yet not sounding really "vintage".

As this is being written in internet, why not check out what I mean by "electronic music" in this case.
On same CD, you got tracks like:
https://awwfn.bandcamp.com/track/im-schatten-der-aufklarung
That is partly noisy but also experimental, but then follows with musical piece like:
https://awwfn.bandcamp.com/track/meditation
and then follows up with far more industrial esque material:
https://awwfn.bandcamp.com/track/mutter

Infektionsabteilung has been project I have been following from the start (?), as first tape came on Finnish label. Missing couple tapes, but overall it has been possible to observe very positive development of project. M.B. is obvious mention in most releases, but perhaps one can place project into lineage of Italian industrial/experimental in general. Track "meditation" would make me lump it together with Sigillium S, Ain Soph and such rather than MB!

This full length is less noisy, more diverse than anything by project I have heard, yet also perhaps the best?
More impressions of Infektionsabteilung or recommendations of other who lean towards this type of material. Like said, the type of experimental stuff that was found on late 80's industrial/noise genre, not really any distorted club music etc...

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you were thinking of, going by your examples, but I think IFOTS is worth mentioning in a thread like this. It certainly stands out to me as being very much P.E. but having a fresh feeling of supreme electronic coldness, and not being dance beats or synth wave either. I think this is especially true of the albums that came out in the middle of the discography, like Danny La Rue Died In His Sleep and Tears Royal.

I picked up the Infektsionsabteilung CD, I like it. I am particularly interested in the use of noise aesthetics in "other" genres, I  come from the techno / electronic world.

There is loads of bland club techno that uses white noise snare sounds and is billed as noise techno - it's just boring. So this is the beats end of the spectrum you wish to avoid. And I concur!

There are some artists that really push boundaries with all sorts of things. One that springs to mind is Blanck Mass although his output is variable in quality he really isn't afraid to try anything and that always make me interested in his next release.

I bill my own sound output as "dismal electronics" and not wishing to blow my own trumpet too much , this track might fit the bill

Anyway I still have a lot to learn on existing artists so I'll keep an eye on this thread.

I should add I've been heavily influenced by the likes of Kjostad, Ekoplekz Himukalt, Like Weeds and Moss Harvest. So loads of stuff with loops / percussion but definitely denser electronic sounds.
