2020 marks the 10th anniversary of New Forces. Although the planned live celebration has been postponed (or cancelled?) I am happy to celebrate with six new releases, available now from New Forces, along with a new issue of the New Forces zine. There are also some great distro titles, including new stuff from Helicopter, Found Remains, Förlag För Fri Musik, and I Dischi Del Barone

New Forces is proud to offer a reissue of the legendary Incapacitants / K2 album "We Are All Stupid," originally released by the Absurd label as a limited edition CDr in 1998. The kings of Japanese noise each offer up a studio track showcasing their unique brand of unrelenting sonic euphoria, followed by a stunning live collaboration from 1997. A mandatory piece of noise history, and some of my favorite material from each these artists. Packaged in a 4-panel digipack sleeve.
Koufar "The Death of Myself" CD
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of New Forces we are excited to reissue an album from the label's first batch of releases. At the time, Koufar's "The Death of Myself" represented the closing of the project's first chapter. A sonic requiem delivered at maximum volume. The innovative blend of classical samples and abrasive vocal exhortations carved out a unique position in contemporary power-electronics. Over time Koufar's influence on the genre has grown, and these recordings are once more available, fully remastered by Grant Richardson with new art and two additional bonus tracks: one unique to this CD, the other previously included on the "The League of the Divine Wind" compilation.
Breaking The Will "Mortal Terrain Incendiary" CD
Human terrain systems. Operational art. Combat maneuver. Unrelenting harsh electronics exploding at a breakneck pace. The first Breaking The Will full-length since 2015's "Choosing Death" is faster, rougher, and far deadlier. Tactical innovations driven by a world on the brink. Super-heated auditory munitions across six new tracks.
Murderous Vision "Caustic Coagulation" Cassette
True American industrial. The soundtrack to the rusted hellish nightmare of modernity. The old guard remains at the top of his game. One of the most aggressive Murderous Vision offerings. Those who know, know. Some of you are about to find out.
Crawl of Time "Moments of Pleasure. Years of Pain" Cassette
5 tracks of deeply personal heavy electronics. An unflinching portrayal of family, anger, and forgiveness. A sonic reckoning, and an opportunity for growth. New Forces had the honor of issuing the first Crawl of Time material in 2017, and we couldn't be happier to once more work with Samuel Montero-Torres (Terror Cell Unit, Koufar).
People's Person "Facing Turmoil" Cassette
Relentless constricting walls of sound. Crushed under a mountain of grinding frequencies. The Swedish underground maintains its dominance. A long-awaited follow up to the debut on Team Boro Tapes.
New Forces Zine Issue 10
The tenth issue of the New Forces zine. Interviews with Mass Marriage and Thousands of Dead Gods. Obsessive listener's guide to blackened drone masters Robedoor. Inane ramblings about heavy metal music. Reviews, pictures, noise ephemera.
