Nobody can deny that Murderous Vision is one of the greats. Active since the late 90ies, Stephen Petrus has created an abundance of highly memorable and well-executed releases under the moniker. Some may have delved deeper into Dark Ambient waters, others deliver full-on Death Industrial with Power Electronics brutality. ,,Mechanical Opus in Six Stages" is his newest landmark and another highly recommended release.

There is a feeling of desolation and underlying brutality that shapes the six tracks presented. Often, the compositions seem a tad restrained and hateful, but always with a lot going on under the surface. Upfront black walls, mechanical patterns and shrill screams evoke a feeling of post-apocalyptic wastelands and total annihilation. As the work progresses, Murderous Vision spices things up with that highly cherished brutality known from previous exploits, making the last third of this amazing album truly liberating and harsh.

Soma is a Harsh Noise outfit from Spain which has been operating in the shadows for quite some time now. After a plethora of releases on labels such as MARBE NEGRE and L.WHITE records, Dunkelheit proudly presents "Me Dais Mucho Asco".

This young and hungry Spaniard has cooked up some truly delicious Harsh Noise for the consenting aficionado. This nice 50 minute assault can be described as a sheer unending storm of Noise blasts consisting of modulated frenzy, thick distortion, rumbling lows and piercing highs. There is always something happening, fleshy sounds and loose loops dissolving into ravishing whirls and tons of tension. Some elements hint towards the past history of Japanese Noise, while the sudden eruption of vocals still makes for the heaviness of classic Power Electronics.

"Me Dais Mucho Asco" by Soma proves that there is still an abundance of freshness and talent to be found in the underground and we hope that many noiseheads will notice the superb nature of this truly exceptional release. Grab it while it's hot!

In its over ten years of existence, the project has become known not only for its devotion to occultism, but also for sounds that can be hard to digest even to those used to challenging noise. ,,1 Body 100 Nails" starts with ear-splicing Feedback and quickly introduces rotten frequencies and manic vocals driven by crusty distortion. A sonic rendition of an inquisitor inflicting harm on squealing victims.

,,..." continues on the vein of earlier exploits Chaos Cascade and RXAXPXE have been involved in and it goes without saying that it is yet another crash-course in audial terror. After four years of silence, the Ambient project Lousberg releases another lengthy opus entitled.... LOUSBERG hails from Aachen and creates sonic art in that old vein that is praised so much. And it will come as welcome news to all those fans of deep and droning Ambient that Lousberg is still using the tricks that have made all his past releases perfect examples of the genre.

One of the many strongpoints of .... is its monumental nature. Wavering patterns of sound appear out of a void of darkness, melt into other drones and build walls of oscillation, strong enough to draw any listener in. Lousberg's newest entry runs for over 70 minutes and is an enticing journey into feelings of cosmic nihilism, melancholy but also bittersweet yearning. Titles like ,,Anti-Existence" frankly state that this is by no means superficial fantasy-based material, but a deeply trance inducing meditation of downfall and despair. The recording is heavily inspired by Clark Ashton Smith, an influence that definitely shows.

Still, there is a certain proudness and epic nature to the sounds used in ..... . Especially the title track ,,Planet of the Doomed and Exiled" makes for a strong opener, immediately showing that Lousberg is a true master of his craft who is able to manipulate pleasant analogue tones to make them reach into the deepest depths of human consciousness. Mandatory for fans of old school Ambient!

The Darkest Universe had been recorded in the beginning of 2022. Mastered by Alex Crispin in April 2022. All music by Lousberg. Instruments that were used in the recordings were Casio CTK-591, Yamaha Portatone PSR-E213 YPT-210, Yamaha PSR-4500, Yamaha Piaggero NP12. Additional Voices, Breath, Night Noises, Storms and Downpours. This work is deeply influenced by the writings of C.A. Smith - A special thanks to Dunkelheit Produktionen for the good work and trust in Lousberg! Greetings and thanks to all those who are still here after the storm left a desert in my soul's home.

Dreamcatcher is pure unrefined thug Power Electronics and also a tireless force of mayhem. After some tapes - some of them ultra limited and distributed only within the inner circles of Noise vileness - this duo returns with "The Dark Corners".

Abandon the hellhole that is modern society and delve into dark parallel words. Whores with swollen eye sockets, drugs and random acts of violence. A reality seen only by very few individuals. We hate society and it hates us.

The sounds themselves are nothing short of putrid. DREAMCATCHER presents complex compositions consisting of throbbing synthesizer textures, bursts of painful feedback, some percussive elements and ghoulish vocals. Somewhere between disturbed Euro Power Electronics and demented Italian Post Mortem filth. Unpleasant to some, ambrosia to others. A must have for those, who are not afraid.
