an amazing release, truly some of the bleakest i've heard from both parties

I don't know why I didn't order this. Sounds really great indeed. Going to check now if there are any copies left.

The dance beats at the end of the title track were a little jarring.  (Some sarcasm here, but still.)

Well, I begin my GO listening journey tomorrow. (Yes, I'm very late to the party.)

I'll start with the All Is Suffering compilation.

I bought a fuckton of GO today based on your reviews / reactions. You guys are always right, yes? 😂

And I think this guy is very thorough and convincing:

I heard some people say the 7"s of religious fanaticism were underwhelming. I can get what someone means when there is track with traditional synth oscillation and Jonestown samples going on top, hah.. But, despite significant overuse of the Jonestown sample within underground music, it is what it is. Still kind of mindblowing scenario, almost 50 years later. There is more here of course. Anyone who missed the 7"s or who doesn't like format that you need to flip over so frequently, this c. 50 min CD actually reveals how nicely the 7"s fit together and without the flavor of 7" vinyl sound, it is quite different sounding. It is possible that this may be even stronger album that Death Zone, which I liked, but now when you listen 7" material in one bleak session, as opposed to format that kind of requires "hit singles", it really works great on CD. There is not that much of aggressive pieces. Some of that, but more emphasis on bleak and hopeless vibes.

I can't really add much to this. All Is Suffering flows well for me. It works as an album. It creates a mood. I'm enjoying the vibe.

This might seem like a strange place to begin my GO journey, but I purposely picked this, knowing that it will ease me in. 😂 A good warmup.
