Orpokotijuhlat Saarella: Never really heard of this project before but, given the warm review, I gave a listen to his bandcamp and sounds definitely interesting. Gloomy and bleak atmosphere.

It is unfortunate to hear that this was Hal's last live performance, as I was hoping that this might signal a return to noise after all that had been going on.  Was the gig recorded?  Will recordings continue in the absence of live shows?

Who knows really if situation would change. I think he is not planning new recordings, but there is some talk about ZSS doing (last?) gig in Finland 2026. So ears and eyes open.

If the live show with XE was anything to go by, then a final ZSS show would definitely not be something to miss.

Thanks for the report! Sadly I ended up missing it although all tickets etc. had been bought (too much work + cold + other stuff taking up time got in the way). The changes to the programme only made the decision easier. But...a lot of it looks great (from videos and images + people I know meeting up etc.) and now I feel like I missed out. Especially Pffft...! looks like something out of the ordinary. I hope to be able to come for the Anenzephalia/Grunt/Human Larvae gig instead.
