New sister label announcement dedicated to reissues: - analogue masters -

The agenda of analogue masters as a label is to make reissues at reasonable prices for their customers by a recruited colleague and me. analogue masters will work primarily on releases on CD and LP. Of course, analogue masters could do reissues on cassette, but the CD format is our priority now. Initially, Skuggsidan will distribute analogue masters products before the new platform is established in a couple of months.

To underline: we do not fear any format, whether chrome master cassettes, DAT tapes or reel-to-reel. It is also possible to send us finished .wav files if preferred by the artist who wishes to. The mission and agenda of analogue masters are working for higher aims and goals, like further distribution to a new audience and creating an archive for posterity.

Don't hesitate to contact us for suggestions and inquiries. We also have an analogue studio where we are based. We also have no problem travelling worldwide if this is preferred. At an initial stage, there is also the possibility of online meetings via services such as Zoom/Skype. The idea of the meetings is to talk about reissue design, mastering, and agreements regarding artist copies and royalty payments. analogue masters do not do this work for profit but to eventually build an archive for descendants in their spare time.

General information:
Skuggsidan is currently working on the following tasks:
- sending out orders. We have recently received many orders through our platform and Discogs lately, and only one person is working on this task. Thanks for your support, and I work as fast as possible. The more support we get, the more we can produce. It is worth mentioning that all our financial income goes to new releases or technical equipment that makes it possible to concretise them.
- uploading selected material from the vault to Bandcamp(not our current top priority). Skuggsidan will upload material most relevant for the moment; I also experience disturbances in the website's bandwidth.
- starting up a new side label. We are currently testing two different e-commerce systems before we decide to move forward. You can now order via https://www.skuggsidan.net and later via the new e-commerce system for analogue masters as a complement. If you have any platform requests, don't hesitate to get in touch.
- moving to new facilities. We are expected to be installed in our new facilities between 25 - January 30, 2023. After this date, everything will be even more established. Our current premises are 60 m2 and are filled with storage wares/equipment.
- trades are also not a top priority until we have fully settled into the new premises. We buy both for wholesale prices and make trades by goodwill if it suits our assortment. Unfortunately, we have high costs related to our operations, which can be challenging to understand if you do not have insight into the day-to-day operations. We also have many incoming items, and a significant update will be soon from items purchased from both trades/whole sales.

General information and distro update:
We are expected to be installed in our new facilities between 25 - January 30, 2023.
After this date, we will be on weekends, and meet-by-appointment will have an official record store when we are fully installed in the new facilities.
The landlord would suddenly demolish our former premises for residential development, which is a significant problem in larger cities. However, we have acquired new premises, and everything will be even more established.
We also have many incoming items, and a significant update will be soon from items purchased from both trades/wholesales.

Finnish and swedish people:
Since I have received many emails regarding Haare, I can tell you that these are available from Finnish distributors. All copies are long gone, and some distributors need to update their stock list after Christmas. Visit Sarvilevyt,Lahti in the physical shop, or go to the Freak Animals website: http://www.nhfastore.net/ . Also, Satahuatta has a few copies left: http://satatuhatta.limitedrun.com. I've put several copies aside as vault copies in case any package goes missing - which is relatively rare. Therefore, it encourages adding tracking numbers to counteract such occurrences. Should an item go missing in the mail, we will replace it with either a refund, the same product, or something else you are interested in from the store.
Millstone vinyl( https://millstonevinyl.se ) will also have a few copies appearing in their next update.
You can read the pinned thread at the essential forums to find the rest of the distributors around the globe.
Wholesale and trades of the new products will start when we are fully installed in the new facility - which will be a record store on weekends and meet-by-appointment.

On Monday: 23/1/23: we will open up our official homepage for a public audience. analogue masters are our side label for reissues on CD digipak, LP and, in some cases, cassettes. On Monday, we will also start to take orders for MLEHST - PEDANTIC /PESSIMISTIC Digipak CD that was released initially as 20 lathe cuts in 1998 according to the Gregorian timeline by Peter King Records.
All orders will be sent on 23/2/23 at the same time as mlehst (UK) is performing on stage in London for the first time in over 15 years. This is NOT a pre-order; the material is already sent to the pressing plant and paid for.
Royalties are paid to the artist for every copy; therefore, they cost 13 € + postage (worldwide distribution).

Work in progress: we will open up a branch office in Manhattan, which will be a record store specializing in noise/"industrial". This will also serve as the official distributor in the US of Skuggsidan & analogue masters (side label for reissues). For example, black metal and ordinary music will also be marketed to finance this. Some of our future releases will be sold exclusively in this store.

The Swedish store will soon be available for those who write a message via our upcoming Telegram channel. This store can be found somewhere in central Sweden, about an hour from the head capital. However, this is only open on weekends, and the most of our distribution will take place online. There is also an on-demand service when people need something on special occasions.
