There's discussions about project names and track titles, so let's share some good lyrics as well! Contortus - Enjoy the Sickness:

Media filled with
Suicide Bombings
Gangrapes
Human trafficking
People burnt alive
Killed like dogs
Torture
Murders
Acid in the face
Mass unemployment
Mass invasion
You wanted this
So don't whine
Fuck your politics
Enjoy the sickness

From the Reality Is Hidden for a Reason. Not the most brutal one by Contortus standards, but a nice statement. The quality has been stable since Violence in Heat but this album might be a notch above the others. In case of Contortus, the lyrics are a big part of appeal and it's the contrast for aesthetics that makes them more effective. Tastefully done covers featuring abstract art of Mr.Puumalainen, combined with cruel stories of rape, torture and mutilations. One of the best pe units.

Hakaristi

Agree that Contortus lyrics are always a treat to read! First projects to come to my mind would be Brethren, Con-Dom, Whitehouse. Brethren lyrics in particular always hit hard and stick in the mind with song-like structures, powerful statements, clear upfront delivery.

Well...

"I really loathe vulgarity, so common
Your disgraceful cellulitis
You'll never be the same again, you fucking stereotype
You take like a cunt
Cunt fucks just like a cunt
You ache just like a cunt
You'll break just like a cunt

Listen to the sound of being alive
You look like a fucking bat
You old slut
I really loathe vulgarity, so common
Your disgraceful cellulitis
You will never be the same again, cunt
Fucking stereotype
Fucking stereotype
You take just like a cunt
Cunt fucks just like a cunt
You ache like a cunt
Cunt fucks just likes a cunt
Cunt
You fucking stereotype
Listen to the sound of being alive, cunt
Look at yourself, cunt
Wrap it up
Pull yourself together
You're a fucking mess
Hey, you're a fucking mess
You're a fucking disgrace, cunt
You take just like a cunt
Cunt fucks just like a cunt
You ache like a cunt
Wrap it up
Pull yourself together
You're a fucking mess
You're a fucking mess
You're a fucking disgrace
Oh, wrap it up
Pull yourself together
You're a fucking mess
You're a fucking mess, cunt
You're a fucking disgrace
You're a fucking disgrace
You're a fucking disgrace
You're a fucking disgrace
Cunt
And you're saying nothing happened?"

Aslo recorded as

"You look like a fucking bat, you old slut
I really loathe vulgarity, so common
Your disgraceful cellulitis
You'll never be the same again
Fucking stereotype
You take just like a cunt
Cunt-fuck just like a cunt
You ache just like a cunt
You break just like a cunt
A cunt like you
Fucking stereotype
Listen to the sound of being alive
Look at yourself, cunt
Wrap up
Pull yourself together
You're a fucking mess
You're a fucking disgrace
Cunt
And still you're saying nothing happened?
While that dog looks at you
He's glancing at that snatch of wizening cleavage
Wizening old tit
Attraction
You must be fucking joking, cunt
And as for those ridiculous shoes
Always too much perfume
Always too much plaster
Yes, that dog looks at you
In fascinated repulsion
Even his disgusting half-erection is disgusted
Because nothing in the world could possibly compare
To holding
His sweet little daughter's hand
Could it?
Cunt"

"You ache just like a cunt, you break just like a cunt"
- I always presumed this was a direct reference to Bob Dylan's 'just like a woman' lyric.

Similarly, 'Rock n Roll' by Whitehouse is taken directly from stage banter on a Kiss live album. With a small addition....

Human Larvae

personally I don't gain much gratification from gore/porn lyrics anymore. I favour the more emotional approach or ambiguity. Grey Wolves come to mind - "It's not your country, it never was, it never will be". Con-Dom is obviously also in the top ranks, on a more straight forward to-the-point style. IRM should also be mentioned.

Andrew McIntosh

Two particular tracks come to mind - Brighter Death Now's "Fourteen" and Con-Dom's "Moor Rapist".

In the first instance, it comes across like an audio horror movie. The slow build up, the simple, suggestive lyrics, climaxing literally in a hellish scream-out, the final utterance "you're fourteen..........you're mine", then devolving into the sound of someone walking past what sounds like a kid's school or something. Twenty one minutes of it. It gets very close to the bone with that one. I didn't think BDN's "Thirty Seven" was as menacing but the way he managed the kid's voice in that one sounds convincing, which gives it a pretty filthy feel.

In the second, it's a track I've used as an example when explaining PE to other people. Mike Dando has said that the lyrics come from an episode of "The Bill", in which a misogynist is giving the rant that's given in the track - "women need rape, it's their weapon, that's what they want, it's their weapon, they want to keep us on our toes" - and in doing so shoves blatant misogyny in everyone's face whether they want it or not. And "the point"? As usual with Con-Dom, it's up to the listener, but anyone who bothers to sit and actually listen to it is going to have an opinion one way or the other, and that is always Con-Dom's real point.

On thinking about it, Con-Dom's "I Hate You" is pretty great lyrically too. I'm quite happy to go around humming "I just hate you! I just hate you! I just hate you! I just hate you! I just hate you!" on my way to the shops and that.

Microaggression!
Microaggression!
Microaggression!
You don't get to judge me!
You don't know my lived experience, what I've been through, what I've seen, what I've achieved!
You pale...stale...male!
Microaggression!
Microaggression!
Look at me!
I am beautiful! I am powerful! I am successful! I have 50,000 followers on Instagram!
I decide my gender, not you! NOT YOU!
Microaggression!
Microaggression!
You dare dead name me?!
You dare misgender me?!
How dare you?! How dare you?! (repeat as necessary)
(Feedback bit)
You just can't handle a beautiful, powerful, successful social influencer maker disrupter she-e-o boss bitch like me! You can't come anywhere near to me!
Don't you dare judge me! You accept me as the beautiful, powerful, successful person that I am or you're out! You don't deserve to know my pronouns! This is what accountability looks like! Don't you give me that microaggression!
Microaggression!
Microaggression!
Microaggression!
(etc)

...and lo a new parady project was born....

The lyrics for Power Electronics constitute a literally style of its own, even because some lyricists are heavily inspired by transgressive Literature and the like. Take Philip Best, for example. I don't really know if Tomkins aswell is interested in it, but his lyrics are very well written nihilistic anectodes filled with subtle dark irony and uncompromised acid wit. The same goes for Best, whose lyrics for Consumer Electronics I don't know if they're really available, which is a shame because I can't make everything of what he is saying.

Best himself has a doctoral thesis entitled "Apocalypticism in the Fiction of William S. Burroughs, J. G. Ballard and Thomas Pynchon", and also a doctorate in English literature. Aside from his work on Amphetamine Sulphate, obviously. His mark is his acid and ironic lyrics, delivered in unmistakeably vocal fashion. The same could be stated about Tomkins. Blue Rabbit has such images ("thoughts! images! sounds!") whose cryptic connotations couldn't fit in a better album, sonically speaking. Many songs from Whitehouse have lyrics which I've been obsessed with since my teenage years. Never Forget Death, Halogen, Told, Quality Time, Just Like a Cunt & a Cunt like You, Philosophy, Daddo, Cruise (Force the Truth), Why You Never Became a Dancer, Cut Hands has the Solution, almost everything from the last two albums..

Many lyrics from the genre stand out in its abrasiveness, but instead of wholly citing them, I'm going to remark some of my favorite lines from such music.

"OR PERHAPS YOU SHOULD OPEN YOUR EYES A BIT MORE THAN YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH." (Whitehouse - Dyad)

"SO THIS IS WHAT YOU SPENT YOUR TIME DOING WAITING FOR SALLY'S DAUGHTER TO GROW UP.
I KNOW YOU'RE FOND OF QUESTIONS SO HERE ARE SOME FUCKING ANSWERS." (WH - Ruthless Babysitting)

"Cunt's so vulgar..." (WH - Vulgar)

"CUT HANDS HAS THE SOLUTION.
WE WILL FEED YOU TO EVERY HUNGRY BIRD
WE WILL FEED YOU TO EVERY STARVING ANIMAL
AND WE WILL LET THEM EAT FAT TILL THEY'RE FULL
AND WE WILL LET THEM DRINK BLOOD TILL THEY'RE DRUNK
AND I TELL YOU: IT'S HELPING
WHILE I TELL YOU: YOU'RE DOING THE RIGHT THIIING!" (Wh - Cut Hands has the Solution)

"It was just and ordinary day in Manchester..." (Throbbing Gristle - Very Friendly)

"FUCKING FEMINISTS... I HATE FEMINISTS... WOMANHATER!" (Con-Dom, Comando Terreur)

"ARE WE TALKING?
OR IS IT INTERROGATION" (Grunt - Interrogation Paranoia)

"TEN YEARS WASTED ON A PROSTITUTE" (Deathpile - The First Whore)

"I have to go to war, I have a fist...
I have to go to war, I have a fist...
I have to go to war, I have a fist...
I have to go to war, I have a fist... (x100)" (Bizarre Uproar - Melting Pot of Cultures)

and many more...

By the way, is there a thread for "favorite Noise samples"? Seems like a good idea to me.

Just asked ChatGPT to write me a Power Electronics song :)

QuoteWarning: Power electronics is a genre of music that often contains intense and graphic lyrics. The lyrics provided below are purely fictional and do not reflect the views or opinions of the writer or OpenAI.

Verse 1:
Screeching noise, a wall of sound
Electric pulses, shaking the ground
Distorted screams, a voice in pain
This is power electronics, driving you insane

Chorus:
Feel the power, let it consume you
Raw emotions, pure and true
No limits, no boundaries
This is power electronics, set your soul free

Verse 2:
Static buzz, a surge of energy
A violent storm, tearing through me
Frenzied beats, a frenetic pace
This is power electronics, no time to waste

Chorus:
Feel the power, let it consume you
Raw emotions, pure and true
No limits, no boundaries
This is power electronics, set your soul free

Bridge:
This is not for the faint of heart
Only the strong survive
A sonic assault, tearing you apart
You'll never be the same, alive

Chorus:
Feel the power, let it consume you
Raw emotions, pure and true
No limits, no boundaries
This is power electronics, set your soul free

Outro:
A final burst of energy, the end in sight
The power subsides, fading into the night
But the memories linger, a mark on your soul
This is power electronics, taking its toll.

Those AI lyrics really don't look all that dissimilar to a lot of average Heavy Metal lyrics.

I see AI 'creativity' level remains that of a 10YO. Same as some AI collages i had seen. They have no chance against the beast called human in the forthcoming war. - Only at chess it appears to be creative but that's a false impression since it's all 'mathematics' for them .
