Best/Favorite Distortion or Overdrive pedals for synthesizer?

Hmmm yeah. That makes sense, I had their clone of the ZVEX Woolly Mammoth and it seemed pretty decent. Definitely a possibility.

I'll second the Blues Driver / Blues Mood. Frickin' genius overdrive, that goes into fuzz territory when pushed.

I use a lot the WMD Geiger Counter Pro and the WMD Acoustic Trauma. I also enjoy the Rainger machines for Fuzzier stuff.

Not long ago, I bought a second-hand Proco Rat clone called EX Amp TC-13 Distortion Myomorpha for 12 euros. It was an excellent surprise.

Honorable mention in this regard goes to Ibanez FZ7. It works really good with octave down signals so i assume that it will work with synths also. And it stacks well with Boss BD-2 with gain turned low.

I really love this pedal, it's actually a clone of both the vintage Rat and the Turbo version, it's very small size is a plus. My best results with synth have been using the Rat, just adds a little grit and "warmth" making it sound a little nastier and at the same time more focused (on my ears).

I totally agree with your feedback. I put it on after a Behringer Wasp and it gives good results.
