Anybody using hardware machines for their videos?
Which are your favorite and suggested ones?
I remember here I met somebody who sold me a lovely light-controlled video mixer but lost his contact.

Old video mixers like the Panasonic WJ-AVE5 are still easy to find cheap-ish if you keep a look out (going up in price a bit like anything due to youtube gear influencers etc). Even unmodded they are fun, get a few splitter cables and you can make complex feedback patches with little or no additional gear.

Even the trash camcorder 'video enhancers' that don't do any fx or video mixing (usually just a basic audio mixers and some kind of rudimentary video fader/boost) are great for adding extra degredation in a video feedback loop, and are very easily circuitbendable to get those cliche video-glitch repeating lines etc

the classic 'dirty video mixer' is fun too. Literally anyone can make one, or you can just use a pre-made passive audio mixer box to do pretty much the same thing. https://dodgystereo.blogspot.com/2013/05/karl-klomp-dirty-video-mixer.html

The Panasonic WJ-AVE5 is a fun entry mixer for analog needs. I've got a couple of those and also a Videonics MX-1 (also good for feedback), all bought from eBay at least a decade ago. I've not looked into how much they're going for these days but whilst sorting through old video equipment for a public screening of some VHS tapes I organised a couple of months ago, I looked at what the value of my Datavideo TBC-100 was and was floored to see one had sold on eBay for £1000+! I thought paying even £100 for it was a bit steep at the time.

Thanks for the hints. I got a dirty video mixer and pruchased a few modded of these machines from Mezkalin Germany and FreedomEnterpirse from portugal and  they both go in my direction. Totally different approach but I am also enjoying the Hypno Synth that reminds me a hardware version of Lumen minus the patches.
