Discogs likes to hold their hand out for additional fees. It's quite strange to me when one pays for a domain to host an actual website or webstore and then you send promo cards despite it being a discogs order and try to encourage those to buy from your website, opposed to a discogs purchase to save them any extra costs, which isn't a huge savings, but some and they continue to buy from Discogs anyways... I think some people just want some sense of security, which is maybe understandable as seeing some distros don't deliver like they should. I cannot fathom the idea or mindset of a label or anyone "ripping" someone off as it's not a very lucrative thing to do in the first place, that's some low level type stuff and think such type of individual could be far more profitable by holding up a "help" sign up on the nearest off ramp, than not sending album in the mail or charging a crazy price for an album, to be realistic you can only charge so much, whatever that much is... will not turn you into Tony Montana, you'd be better off working a mundane job in all reality.
