Seeing that there appear to be multiple models of the Gristleizer now available from various manufacturers, I am curious to hear (1) whether anyone has one of these clones, (2) what you experiences with them have been like thus far, and (3) whether there seems to be a particular version that is better than the others.

I am primarily interested in an effects box version, not a Eurorack, so these are what I have been looking at so far:

I myself have not used either but I can tell you with full certainty that the mothhunter mod will be top notch. Everything I've used/tested from him has been excellent quality and very faithful.

Seconded, I have a few of his builds (not the Gristleizer though, however I have considered it) and couldn't be happier.

The La Bruja has been a staple for my group. I have high hopes for the Gristleizer!

Thank you both for the helpful information!

Emmergy Fx in the UK also make their version of this called the Gristle Throbber. I've only used it with raw contact microphone input so it sounds nothing like the guitar/synth demos of those Moth Hunter and Dirt Monger pedals.
