Wanted to start a thread for a personal stand out of the old Italian scene, especially since it seems there's hardly any information about the guy? Any news on him since the reissues came out years ago?

Anywho, was playing Mental Answer earlier today and it still holds up. Don't know what was in the water in Italy back then but they found a way to get some truly nasty sounds. Anyone got a personal favorite tape he's done?

Another reminder that I need to get those reissues...

More substantially, however, my experience with Swastika Kommandos is very similar (though somewhat less in-depth) as with Atrax Morgue.  For both projects, there are few releases that truly stand out because the overall quality of output was consistently high---and largely determined by the prevailing atmosphere than specific moments of interest.

If you fork the money over for the comp you're getting the best of the SK material. I've mostly been jamming The New Sadism and Lyoto Music stuff since last night/into this morning. Some of his other work escapes me though...

Showcases the best SK material indeed. I think the CD box has been reissued a few times. I didn't think that one was too expensive, but perhaps now it is. LP set has got to be very expensive I'd imagine! I'm probably going to revist that set again real soon. I wish the New Sadism had a CD version.

Hopefully this could happen with I.R., Getting mildly tired of the Urashima/Menstrual prices. Mikko keeps it done right.

New Sadism LP is pretty cheap though. Definately not crazy prices. I got the SK vinyl box for like a 100 not too long ago. Absolute must fans of italian filth.

True...$45 isn't too bad. Definitely spent worse. Just wish the box of SK would come down in price. I gotta at least try to be responsible.

12 euros one on Discocks, but postages kill private sales hard.

I am seeing "Breathers Penis Age" for less, however it's the one I've spent the least time with...damnit.
