The Ajna Offensive has released the book by Allerseelen...

FreakAnimalFinland

This was compilation of his old zine, I think? Is it "replica", or are the booklets re-typed with computer font etc?
I think most of all the zines were interesting in times of limited information, but probably still remain interesting. I would hope people would still make something like this - not just blogs.

I guess they redid all the zines rather than reproducing them each page:

Blutleuchte compiles all 20 Aorta and 9 Ahnstern tracts into a comprehensive hardback English edition.
The translations have been revised and fine tuned with the help of various editors and the author.
The book is 324 pages in length and printed on soft recycled paper with wine red and chestnut brown text, and in housed in a wine red cloth binding with a duo-tone inset photo and black end papers.

Blutleuchte should be viewed as a meta-historical compendium. The book becomes a romantic vision of Gerhard's own personal take on many topics that have inspired many and grown into popular themes within the industrial, neo-folk, heathen and black metal underworlds.

Gerhard's research, along with magical-mystery tours to various cultic sites and interviews with prime players in the world of art, music and culture, culminate in a passionate narrative drawn from primary documents, heretical and sacred writings, philosophical treatises, psychotropic experimentations, and experiential learning.

The book works through Gerhard's enthusiasms for various persons and movements, religious sites, architectural accomplishments, natural mysteries, celebratory festivals and scientific advancements.

The book officially sees the night of day on December 22nd, in honor of the Winter Solstice.
The retail list price is $40, but we will have a special price ($30 plus postage) offered until the end of the year.

Ask Gerhard, i think he should get some.

In case you are open for cheesy minimal "alpen-techno" i warmly recommend Allerseelen "Hallstatt" CD, which is surley his most consequent album of his latest and rather melodic works. Unlike his other albums, that have a lot of drop outs = really bad taste tracks included, this album is very stringent with 80% hits only. My absolute favorite!

However, this is my favorite Allerseelen track (Album: "Flamme"):

I have a thing with Allerseelen... I have almost all their 7'', if not all, but I don't have any full-lenght albums...
I really enjoy the split with Sangre Cavallum and the compilation "Edelweiss".

Also, the book released by Ajna, is something very interesting! Maybe not new topics for must of us, but a good read. I still have one for sale if someone is still missing it. And as far as I know, he's already writing something new.

I really tried getting into these guys, couldn't do it...some tracks sounded incomplete and some of the 'metal' tracks seemed out of place.

Years has passed since topic was started. Blutleuchte book = good!

Was listening to his "archaische arbeiten" 2xLP. First part of the 2xLP reissues of his works. Originally material from 1989 tapes, and I could say this release instantly became my favorite Allerseelen to date. Label described this as Ancient recordings of archaic chamber music. Very rough and hypnotic shaman music, compareable to best Zero Kama and Orchestra of Skin and Bone. And perhaps band that are compared to, are not really 100% same with sound, but something about the atmosphere makes comparison valid.

It makes me want to check out more parts of these double LP series. For anyone who have been doubtful due dance material or hit & miss nature of full releases, I'd strongly recommend "archaische arbeiten"! Not expensive, not hard to find.

New disc Terra Incognita is undoubtedly the best of the more modern Allerseelen works. I have no idea how Kadmon keeps this fire burning all his life...
