HONOR_IS_KING!

I wish someone was video taping close to enough to where he hit, so we could have seen this kid smashed into pieces better.

Still intense as hell though.

Josh Bender is well-known for going huge on a mountain bike. Or, going huge and crashing:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrE8sT-zMEE (at 1:33, that's a 70 foot drop)

This is my favorite thing from 2010:

Check out how steep the descent is around 24 sec's! The big wall transfer he does at the end is great too. One other rider went
to the hospital & destroyed his fork trying that.

That last video is beautiful. Freeride downhill always interested me when I was younger but I never really got around to doing it. I did a lot of BMX in high-school but I was into vert and pools a lot more than anything else. When I was a skateboarder I was really into "burley" riding as opposed to technical shit because I was never good at kick flips and crap but I loved bombing hills, huge gaps, drop offs, etc. I've been thinking about getting back into bikes but don't really know when I would have the time.

Ouch again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1yDIU3JScc&feature=related

There was a documentary I watched on Fuel about some Norwegian chick who was a base jumper. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I didn't get to see the whole thing. It has Jeb Corliss in it talking about how both him and her should have been statically dead years ago because anyone who stays in base jumping for more than like a few years will die.

Unlike bmx, you can ride a mountain bike into your 50s-60s as long as you don't fuck yourself up too bad. There's a pro XC racer here that is in his mid-60s & I've read stuff from people saying they're in their 50s riding downhill/mild freeride.

Call up Gnar Gnar Tours & rent a bike: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xi8uBCaaiOI

AZ is loaded with great riding. Alot of it looks technical as hell. I'd love to check out Sedona...

This is AMAZING. Can't imagine what soaring through canyons would be like. Adrenaline must just be off the charts on landing. Everything after that
would just SUCK until you can go fly again.

Watched it while listening to Gism...
