My personal favorites remain Pure series discs:
*Memories - for it primitive and simple approach. A must for those who liked Americanoise comp tracks!
*Dedicated to Masami Akita
*Dedicated to Richard Rupenus
latter remains possibly still THE best TNB "collaboration".
I know I am probably biased towards early amazing experiences - and these were the first ones I got.
As for live gigs, I have seen Emil play maybe... 10 times? Mostly thanks to Yankee Know-How tour. First gig I saw was 2003 London, and it blew my mind. Was it TNB who had just finished - when suddenly instead of DJ music, noise hits the PA at full volume. A lot of people are wondering what is happening, but suddenly you see movement in crowd behind you and there is Emil playing in middle of hall - doing his dressing up routine - but also delivering noise to perfection. It is very rare case when "humor noise" captures on such level - but it was most certainly best act of the night and there was pretty intense line-up.
I got hours of video footage as well as audio recordings of Yankee Know How tour. Some of the stuff is brilliant. Intent to do DVD release or DVD+CD release has been bending for years... but maybe, there would be still demand for it? There is probably 1 hour of Prurient video interviews. 30 mins of music, 30 mins of blowjobs. Not sure if he'd want all that published now, haha!
