I updated opening message. It was mistake not to explain concept of "good live photo" further, but it was talked a bit in messages of first page. Anyways:
Please no shitty pics of good bands, but good photos of all sorts of noise welcome!
I urge to post links or sample pics from something one feels suitable for topics.
Please write name of performer and credit photographer if possible!
What constitutes as "good noise live photo"?
-captures atmosphere of moment and includes some advanced technical skill.
What is bad live noise photo?-the usual phone/digi-tourist snapshots, generally low quality digital artifacts, flat to no atmosphere killed with bright flashlight. Having no eye on framing, timing or composition.
I do not say, that "good" couldn't be boring and "bad" couldn't look wild & interesting for some, but in this topic, GOOD PHOTOGRAPHY is basically according to what you would like to see on pages of photography book. Not what you see in recollections of last fridays bar evening posted on facebook.
As example, could anyone think of any qualities what makes this image below "good" ?
There was some (in my opinion) good photos in xdementias massive post - but as said, please post GOOD PHOTOS only. We are bombarded by crap from all directions, all the time, and why even bother post crap quality images what does no justice for artists or the atmosphere of actual situation?
But don't be intimidated. Just consider before posting: Is this good, average or bad? If it ain't good, don't post it. If it ain't image you'd like to see (and maybe pay for!) in print, as poster, in art book, along classy magazine interview, it's very likely rest of us don't need to see it. Quantity is not essential. 1 image contribution is fine. Select the absolute best.
