A shame that it hasn't been distributed properly yet. I got my copy from the band right from the print so... It's an amazing album. As bögskäggmannen said, there is an intensity in it, especially with the texts, that surpass most of what I hear today - the level of nightmarish obsession with self-emasculation leaves me sickened, combine that with the carefully crafted noises, drones and atmospheres and Bladh's equally menacing vocals. I like the clattering of strings (sounds like someone fondling a detuned piano) a lot, and the audible bass guitar elements, giving the album an organic, more musical feel.
Given that it's 4x15 minutes, it's a rather demanding album to sit through, but on the other hand a lot more to, ehm, enjoy.
With this album, longside the recent ALTAR OF FLIES lp, and if my expectations are met by the new SEWER ELECTION and ÄTTESTUPA lp's, I'd say Swedish industrial/etc is doing quite fine.
