Short comment about the release :
In 2012, I learned about the death of Jacques Dupin whose poetry has been a source of inspiration over the years. I've used his prose to go with my little noise world and mythology on « Parmi les pierres éclatées », and « Jardin du sommeil. Chant d'amour sur la nuit grandissante » makes blunt reference both to Messiaen and Dupin.
« Cendrier du voyage » - the ashtray of the journey - is the title of his first book, published in 1950. While not a paraphrase of the texts, those three words were constantly coming to my mind while working at the album. So, once again, I chose to make them mine to go with the versatile electro-acoustic collage presented on the album.
