WANTED: The Grey Wolves - Catholic Priests Fuck Children LP replacement sleeve / scans / hi-res pictures

Hello everyone,

I recently acquired a cheap copy of The Grey Wolves' Catholic Priests Fuck Children LP on the long-defunct Praxis Dr. Bearmann label. It was cheap because a previous owner cut out the album title from the double-sided three-panel sleeve that houses the vinyl record, so there's roughly an inch missing of the front and back side of the first panel that makes the three-panel foldover sleeve.

Pics:

Now while this is not a dealbreaker to me (after all, the vinyl record is in pristine condition and to me it's mainly about the music anyway), it would arguably be nice to have a somewhat complete sleeve instead of a damaged and incomplete one.

So I am therefore looking for:

  • An original and complete spare sleeve I can use as a replacement (FOR WHICH I WILL PAY), or;
  • Hi-res scans of the front and back of the first panel, or;
  • Hi-res pictures of the front and back of the first panel

I know this record came out close to three decades ago and that the label is long gone, so getting an original replacement sleeve is a long shot and most likely very difficult, if not impossible to find. But then again: Tesco is currently selling leftover poster / foldover sleeves of the Punishment LP that came out in 1992, so I suppose it is not entirely outside the realm of possibilities either.

Second best would be hi-res scans of the pictured panels. I would use those to make my own double-sided photocopy on slightly higher grade, thicker, glossy cardboard. I intend to keep this record for eternity (or at least until whoever inherits my collection once I die gets to go through the arduous task of sorting through all the stuff) so it's mainly an aesthetic thing in terms of 'a makeshift photocopy with the complete artwork would be nice to have, barring a complete, original sleeve'

Anyone able to help me out, by any chance?

Anyone else notice Tesco reissued Punishment in pro CD? I didn't realize that until last week. I'm glad they did, that one needed a proper reissue. Hopefully in the near future Tesco will reissue The Age Of Dissent on pro CD too!

Where do you live?
BTW Your damaged and incomplete sleeve tells a story. I'd suggest not to replace it,
but to add a copy of the missing part for the few who don't know what was cut off.

Tesco announced: THE GREY WOLVES "DIVISION" CD. Now it will be packaged like the recent reissues have been. CD between couple cards. It may be even better, since I didn't care much for the clamshell box packaging it originally had.

That original clamshell version had quite a bit of inserts inside. I wonder if they'll incorporate all of those into the new version. I really wish Tesco would reissue a nice CD version of The Age Of Dissent soon. I'd imagine at some point they might.

I seem to be on a Grey Wolves hunt / exploration now. The initial post for this thread is great, and I'm going to do much more digging here.

Division seems to be...er...divisive, amongst Grey Wolves fans. Was it the times? Nobody wanted bad mp3 samples in 2003?

Damn! Even if this is a compilation, and not even "best of", but sort of underlines how GW has the atmosphere, the feeling, that it doesn't have to have the best tracks known as their iconic live hits, but really that other stuff. Simple, often lo-fi industrial-noise, rawness, suffocating, alienating sound, just really good CD that I listened yesterday... 4 times. Basically didn't get to listen much else, that twice G.O. 7" comp CD and rest of the day spending with GW! Feel tempted to listen more today.
It would be curious to think is it somehow more personal history, that sets GW so so high position, and would the guy who now gets to hear it, wonder why he'd need to worship this crude hissing drum machine beat going on? hah.
Despite packaging is just two postcard type pieces and CD in plain paper sleeve between them, graphics are good and sharp! Cover states "CULTURAL TERRORISM ENDS HERE!" and despite all rumors about GW reissue things, could this be the end for reissues? Hope not..

You sold me!

So Exit Strategy was the last recording, and here we have the Exit Wounds comp. How fitting.

I only have the cheap CD-R re-release they made years ago, so I could consider purchasing a re-release on pro CD, even though this release in a plastic bag plus cards instead of a proper jewel case with a real booklet doesn't really appeal me. But I see it's already on Discogs, but not on the Tesco Website, weird.
