I downloaded "Even The Flies..." from Bandcamp, the lyrics are there. I quite like it, I'm grateful to Ms. Skolnik for the introduction.
When you've got someone writing stuff like "As a person living in a genderfucked body that was assigned female identity at birth and has been mostly read as female by society since..." you know you're not dealing with someone who's very comfortable about being who they are and is blaming everyone else for that discomfort. She gives some "further clarification" on her blog (scroll down a bit).

It was difficult to even make it halfway down that page. Some of the questions she gets are almost as entertaining as her own posts. Where did all of these pussies come from? It looks to me that a lot of the younger crowd that have an issue with the social commentary within Power Electroncs are the same type of people that should be sporting Hardcore/Powerviolence merchandise, but by a hint of luck, re-blogged a photograph of a live Whitehouse set (punk isn't outsider enough for 'em anymore!) and became "gurus" of misguided information in their tourist fantasyland.
Disliking anything aggressive aurally (someone on her page had made a remark about the inherent white heterosexuality in the United States Power Electronics scene) for it's appeal towards straight males is like being interested in baseball and being offended by the shape of the field (a diamond). Do these morons not realize that the genres in which they are attempting to "recreate in their image of a perfect world" have existed since the early 80's (far longer than they've had their Tumblrs...) and highlighted taboo topics with the intent to be offensive, or rather, make the listener feel uncomfortable in a disturbing sonic environment? Do they even do research before slandering things or is it okay to be this stupid?
