Institut - Unto the last man

Talked to Johanna from Institut (and Koeff) and she said that the song was always great to play live but she wasn't really pleased with the recording on the double 7" from CMI, which makes sense to me... it's an anthemic song for sure but I always felt the recording lacked a certain something. J said that Tesco apparently had a much better live take of the song somewhere yet unreleased...

Originally not an Institut track. There was once a "New Futurist Movement" in Malmö and its musical wing, for want of a better description, was called Megafon. Unto the Last Man was a Megafon track. I think it was even released on tape by NFM a couple of years before Institut decided to make it theirs. When NFM ended in tears Institut went on to do great things on their own.
