Pendt speaks truth. I don't normally care for lists of yearly bests but "Unpunished" deserves mention because I think it'll stand out as a canon classic for years to come.

Skepticism - Ordeal

Thanks for the heads-up on this!  Though I'm undecided if this is good thing: a little piece of me dies whenever a blast from the past hits me this way.  I think of Slint, or maybe the Pixies or some other band that worked perfectly in the original moment exhumes itself, brushes its' 20 year old greyed, balding corpse down and party's like it was 1999.

Last year was a nightmare on my wallet, between the OFC- Frozen in Steel boxset, Justmeat reissue, Arizmenda, the new Volahn...the list goes on..

I'm going to cheat and include mini lp's as there were a couple that I loved this year like the Tetragrammacide demo and the Haunting Presence mlp. Like last year a lot of excellent music came out this year, and I definitely agree with everyone on Nigger Torture Chamber being perfect!
