Anyone know if this was released, and what track it likely ended up in?

Based on this being an interview from January 2019, I'm fairly certain Akita is referring to the loops he recorded for Vatican Shadow's Berghain double-12", released in the spring of the same year. The B-side of the second record is largely all locked grooves by Merzbow and Genesis P-Orridge. The release is a mixed bag with more good than bad, but the absolutely stunning Virile Games track and the locked grooves make it worth owning.

Thank you!  I have not seen this before, and it sounds very interesting.

Any thoughts on the "Blood Is Cheap" 10" by Oswald Resurrection which came out on Old Europa a few months back?

k.p.g

Never realized that Oswald Resurrection was Dom and Jim.  Makes sense.

I am mostly interested in the side projects that go up until the end of his Providence days.  Stuff like Smashed Femur Dance Party or Parrot are such great oddities because of the fac that they only appeared on compilations.  You make stuff that great and it just extends to that?  C'mon!

Would be curious to hear rips of Christmas Trees or Football Rabbit if they exist.
Dead Door Unit
French Market Press

That Parrot track is superb. Plummer and Fernow come across as perfect collaborators on paper, I always wondered why they never did more than that one recording.
By far the most interesting "what could have been" Fernow project for me, though, (aside from the painfully short-lived Roemer-Stella-Fernow lineup of Macronympha) is Young Lords. The tail end of his Providence era, or maybe he only just moved to NYC at that point, not sure.

Kites + Prurient. A single (and spectacular, exactly what one would hope a collaboration between these projects would sound like) released track, only available on the CD version of the Kites / Prurient split. A live show announced for No Fun Fest 2005 but then abruptly cancelled, with Kites and Prurient each playing solo sets instead.
Rumors of an LP which was worked on and due to be released by Load Records, which never ended up materializing. What might have been...

Football Rabbit, from the few compilation tracks I heard, sounded and felt very much like a casual, "fun" hobby project. Instrumental, jammy noise rock, if my memory serves me right. More of a curio than anything else.

Ah yes, I forgot to include Young Lords!  Yes, that track is excellent.  It's a shame that LP never materialized but I think I can understand, given the personalities involved.
