And, one must not forget that ALL criticisms of violent or intolerant themes in all kinds of UG music are smear tactics by Hipster / PC / feminist etc journalists who have nothing to do with the respective scenes. It's all propaganda. VICE and co just impose their stupid PC set of morals on scenes they only know from Youtube or third hand information. The argument is always the same: "oh, this is so juvenile", "this doesn't provoke anybody", "real musicians don't need those kind of shock tactics" and most of all: "this is stupid" (implying of course that they are much smarter)... It's so transparent if you know what these peoples' agenda is. I would say the same concept is found nowadays by many so-called "experimental" noise musicians who make fun of "unintellectual" PE and think only circuit bent Gameboys or whatever are real "art".
Of course, as has been said before, I can totally understand when a true PE fanatic says that he simply doesn't need the billionth tape of a band that offers nothing more than a rape-screenshot from a commercial film or a newspaper with no additional depth to the subject matter. However, I will take crudest perversion over narcicisstic pseudo-intellectualism (which usually sounds like garbage soundwise anyway) any day of the week.
