Korg Minilogue

This has caused some interest on Facebook, since it was announced. Korg is releasing a medium-priced (or maybe even cheap, by synth standards?) polyphonic analog synth called MINILOGUE:

I got it today in the end.
PVery positive impressions. Poliphony and several settings are amazing. Loved the delay and the ring modulator. It is excellent for ambient atmopshere, but if threated properly it can raise serious hell.
It has the classic Korg basslines we all loved in ms20, microkorg and ms2000, plus several other features.
I needed something to do proper music, but I think it will be a nice companion also in sonic mayhem.

I just got one for my first synth. Hoping it can get the job done in a PE/Industrial setting. So far am really enjoying it. Lots of potential. Looking forward to running it through some external affects.

Edit: Has anyone used this in a PE setting yet?

Judging from the samples I have heard, probably a lot of pedals are needed to create a "typical" PE sound, right?

Not necessarily "lot" of pedals.
If I'll be at home during the week end, I will try to recreate the sounds I recorded.
It is very "clinical", and I prefer to use it for atmospheric parts, but it can also become killer.

Considering the minilogue has a mono setting, this seems kinda pointless.

it also loo^k like the sequencer is a proper one and there seems to be a focus on bass sounds/lines

I will test it,... but it sounds the same policy of Arturia regarding the Minibrute and the Microbrute
