Four new releases now available:

Encephalophonic 'Body Fluids/Moaning Sex' 7"
Two sides of tightly constructed, high density cuts of fervent noise electronics from this always exciting project. While as tightly packed as ever, 'Body Fluids' and 'Moaning Sex' each play with a renewed connectedness. An ode to the single-minded unpredictability of rampant sex.
Lathe-cut 7" in a limited edition of 30 copies. Packaged between two sheets of acrylic and adorned with escort ads which I collected on the streets of Las Vegas.

Tesla Sect 'The Nikita Mill' C30
A Dionysian exploration of tape decay, harsh electronics and the defect-prone qualities of analogue consumer electronics, 'The Nikita Mill' collides, teases and destroys on the first (and only?) release of this duo from Adelaide, Australia. Cassette packaged in repurposed 7" reel boxes with artwork from Sabbatical visual lord Mark Groves. Edition of 32 copies.

Ptomain & Dried Up Corpse split C50
Split cassette of unapologetically dense, barraging and forceful harsh noise.
Seattleite Stan Reed (half of Blue Sabbath Black Cheer) offers up another dark and dank piece of noise smog, its syrupy flow coating occasional nudges of concrete claustrophobia.
Germany's Ptomain responds by ditching the wall stasis of much of its discography in favour of throwing everything in the thresher, "Unstructured Fragmentation" living up to its title as a seething, unpredictable mess of protrusions.
'Arigato pack' packaging with screenprinted art from Auckland tattooist (one of my favourites) Hokowhitu Sciascia, then smeared with a bitumen composition. Edition of 36 copies.

Hiroshi Hasegawa & Leid-Linie split CD
Over the first half of this CD Hiroshi Hasegawa (Astro, C.C.C.C., Mortal Vision, etc.) proves just why he is considered a master of the noise idiom. Through textural manipulation of feedback, corrupt electronics and junk metals, "Unconditional Surrender" is as virulent as anything in his impressive 25+ year career.
Undeterred, Leid-Linie - the rebranding of Sascha Mandler's respected Izanami's Labour Pains project - responds with four tracks of finessed cut-up noise abundant with dynamic tension and wrenching juxtaposition.
Edition of 100 CDs with cover artwork by Malsonus mainman Jonathan Canady.
