Been listening to these guys for a little while and I know they've existed a lot longer than that but I'm always surprised by how little I hear them mentioned, you can find almost all there releases at extremely fair (if not downright cheap prices).

For those that don't know, MS is trio which Oren Ambarchi plays drums in...noise rock might get close to describing it, though I feel it's even a few steps left of that and far more intuitive. Detuned, untuned guitar. Crude and muddled, the strings might as well flail in the wind as feedback washes around, really if it weren't for the drums I'm not sure it's even touch on the "rock" genre at all. If anything drives people away from this group it might be Nik Kamvissis vocals which are a complete array of what the fuck vocalisms, screeching bird call crys, chanted and stretched to a point of total failure.

These are two shows in full, the first one shows a bit more extended technique and the second more of a "traditional" band format

There first album MA can be found here, and bought very cheap on discogs

Anyone else into these guys? Anyone seen them or seen Kamvissis art in galleries? I know in Mahrug #3 he mentioned some solo work (I think) hope it comes to fruition. I'll try to post some more on the various albums later

interesting.
no idea of these gents, but, from a book in very early eighties there was reference to psinging clitoris and the menstruation sisters, as a part of us surrealism compendium.
