Haha, strange discovery: I have the Military Position - Anti-human tape for some time and remember listening to it once and that it wasn't too exciting. So didn't investigate any further then. After reading the reviews from UFOI IV festival and watching the clip on YT, I decided to give the tape another chance. But still, not much more interesting, I thought - apart from realizing that the vocals sounded very manly - and wasn't there a woman in the video!?
After comparing my tape with a couple of samples on YT it seems I got something else instead of the MP tape. Shit!

So if anyone wants to get rid of it - I could be the one who takes it.

Ebola Disco were/are the most uncompromising live pe act in Australia, at least while they were active. Sheer velocity, and usually no more than 10-15 minutes long. Also quite a bit of gallows humour that was lost on a lot of people. They did a cover of Donna Summers' I Feel Love and once managed to secure a live slot at one of Australia's biggest hippie festivals. They also travelled all the way to Hawaii just to play for 10 minutes. Old Captain recently re-released a back catalogue of their stuff which includes a lot of the live recordings - also includes their epic Flies for Friends track released as a 12" by Tesco b/w Rope Society.

YEP.  Veered away from mentioning as, I suppose, it isn't strictly 'noise/industrial' but I love his work.  Red Wine & Sugar is outstanding.

Mark Groves made great things! I will release his first album as "Arum Lilies" on cd in july.

fuck yeah, i was lucky enough to see them play at Red Light District several times while they were living in Queens NY, and every time it was insane. hands down some of the best & most action packed exciting live harsh noise i've ever heard. heavy energy with punishing execution. the unspoken communication between the two of them translated through live electronics was impressive to witness. where the Incapacitants revel in an ongoing trance of noise bliss, Neckhold's level of violence exploded so fiercely often sets were over in a matter of minutes and everything around them left a wreck.

they recorded and sent a master for an LP on Trash Ritual but soon after the label ceased activity and it was shelved. the brothers turner several times said they would mail it to me to release as a cassette on collapsed hole noise, along with new material, but nothing ever arrived. still hoping a package shows up at my door someday...

until then - if anyone has the Neckhold tapes on Sounddesign, Trapdoor, or Scumbag Relations for sale or trade in the US, drop me a PM! or anything not listed on discogs as well.
