The Mysogyny tape is great, closer to the early Taint tapes, which are my favorites of the project. Also have to commend him for the idea of turning the samples really low on albums like "Sex Sick" so that when you turn it up to listen, you're earraped by the noise when it comes back in.

Mania I'm still delving into, but everything I've heard from the project has been great-hopeless, creepy, and desperate, as others have said, and it seems like the last few releases show that he was still at the top of his game when he died.

That was a sonic boom to the eardrums at first listen on "Sex Sick". I'll never forget that! It's like you had to crank it up pretty well to hear the samples only to have your ear drums bludgeoned with ear piercing feedback! It's a brilliant way to sadistically punish the listener, but I'm hoping others don't get inspired to repeat or copy cat that idea, haha...

Anyone have any idea what that was about? Jilted ex-girlfriend or just someone trying to make a name for themselves by shitting on a more well-known project?

There was couple version of the track. I recall they had two different takes of song, one with quite generic title, one with clear song title referring to Taint/Keith. He said he had not been in touch with them at all, and I recall band was simply not very fond of topics Taint was using. Nothing dramatic really.

About reissues, there are plans, there are talks with labels involved with the original releases. It is likely FA does the reissues of FA items first, and when everything is settled with other labels, more releases will come. I know people may be hoping for extensive Taint boxes and all sorts of rarities to be done, but when artists himself said that "you know how to do it", trusting one knows how he was doing it, I'm sure any label who worked with Keith knows he was never the guy who wanted every private release to be "out there" for anyone to buy. Real albums   were meant for bigger crowd, and it feels that very similar releases with no significant changes that function more like repress is good way to do it. To do revision and somehow popularize what was meant to be private and direct artist communication to his listeners (tiny cdr editions etc), we could easily let that be what it was.

I was just wondering, if there were any more interviews with Keith Brewer in zines and so on, than the one I know about...in Freak Animal #11?
Didn't he like to talk about his work and projects or doing interviews at all? Don't want to ask stupid questions, but this I really don't know.

There are handful of interviews. Usually they are very short and blunt. You'd find out more about him as person from Special Interests forum. His messages as Bitewerks posted on SI forum probably is biggest amount of "preserved" communication.

MSG's 2022 release by Packing Plant sounds very different from most other works of his that I've heard. I wonder when this was recorded, and why it was released in 2022 rather than sooner.
