Has anyone ever made contact with Lawrence Van Horn of Sleep Chamber / 7 From Life? Would love to see the 7FL material reissued and I know I can't be the only one.

I've only heard a comp track or two. Maybe contact John ZeWizz for info? While you're at it, ask about Jonathan Briley! His tapes desperately need reissuing.

I witnessed Sleep Chamber live. The first time including Briley on oil drum percussion & he was intense as hell!

ZeWizz discusses the TX tour on his blog. That took place in 1988.

Aye on Jonathan Briley! John Z is on fartbook. He might have Van Horn's details. PM me and I'll giv you his nick. Better for you to contact directly.

I've got John's new page added and have just wrote him.

Re: Briley - sometime last year someone wrote a comment on JZ's old page saying that Briley was "back" or something similarly vague, but haven't seen anything else since then.
I would be shocked if there aren't already reissue plans for his stuff, though I can't recall ever hearing about any.

There was a very brief "discussion", if you want to call query + random reply discussion, here:

7 From Life was, I'd say, pretty far from Sleep Chamber (or ZeWizz) and that is no bad thing. Very wide-ranging in ideas, hard to pinpoint, undeniably talented.

No word yet from Zewizz. Did some deep digging and even tried to contact relatives of Larry to no avail. I'm going to write a letter to the most recent address I can find for him. I would really like to see his tapes reissued!
