to refer to other John, I assumed this would be a film thread.
computer game music is just that, as is commercials music.

not exactly agree
in some cases it may be music to 8-bit built for commercial purposes but the role played by the game in the history of pop culture  become something more than commercial music.
and in some cases are real composition.

as never liked computer games in first place, likely snob to attempts to add to thread.
but, think ost refers to film not game or advert.

ONE

PHILLIP GLASS - Mishima.

Certainly worth listening to, perhaps even buying.  It's stood the test of time for me, and doesn't stink of One-Trick Pony, which is a common aroma around Reich, Glass et al.

seen film this am and would love 'horrors of malformed men as OST, with original jap music, odd verbals and final results.
omg carry on.

Rhan-Tegoth

I am looking for more Ambient movie soundtracks like Popol Vuh "Aguirre" or Brian Eno "Dune".

Where The Dead Go To Die has a mostly ambient soundtrack by Screamer Clauz (who normally plays that shitty speedcore crap)

I don't go berserk for the OST thing but I would have bought The Thing one in a heartbeat. What a shame it was such limited bullshit.

My top OST is to "Forbidden Planet" which is just a perfect eerie listen. I scooped up the 2012 reissue and it's a wonderful der full experience.

I would buy the OST from "The Dunwich Horror" in a heartbeat.
