Using cellphone as mic?

Anyone ever use 2 cellphones as a mic? One hooked up to mixer/ p.a. /amp, and then call it from a second phone? Never seen it, but seems like you'd get some weird feedback and delay...

at a Gymnastic Decomposition gig we tried to have a band member literally phone in his contribution from Wales, all we could really hear was that annoying mobile phone interference sound tho

I did see a grindcore band where the vocalist phoned in his performance from out of state while someone in theaudience held the phone to a mic. It worked surprisingly well!
