Anyone got experience with particular voltage starvation devices ?? I'm able to do it in Eurorack but curious whats out there in pedal land ?

Not a pedal but our Chernobylizer synth heavily uses power starving techniques. Unlike a lot of power-starve circuits/mods/circuitbends we only starve certain parts of the circuit and re-amplify the starved signal, so you get all the weirdness without any volume loss. Also various large capacitors are used to alter the character of the starvation by storing electricity to gradually drain out -

re: dying battery simulators for pedals, some good info in this thread. a simple voltage divider works ok but there are some more 'realistic' ways to do it:
