Couple days ago listened UMPIO/ irr. app. (ext.) collaboration 2xCD and liked it even more than did back in 2019 when it came out. Also Drone Records  irr. app. (ext.) release was impressive.
I must admit that I have had hard to digesting the stuff merely due band name.  Just can't quite get into idea of liking works of something called "irr. app. (ext.)", haha... I know it is a bit silly, but what can you do if it is the honest gut feeling?

Inspired by the mentioned double CD and 10", decided to look for more. I do have bunch of stuff in my shelves, but turns out 2023 has been busy year for the artist. Bandcamp is full of "digital only" releases that are some sort of remixes or reworked stuff. Listened already probably 5-6 digital releases from there, as would be unlikely I'd be buying CDR's and some stuff was, like said, bandcamp exclusives.

irr. app. (ext.) has his own website, blog, bandcamp, and very neat visual arts, selling both art-prints and some original works.

I would assume people into Nurse With Wound would appreciate this stuff a lot. I would be curious how many have grabbed his releases and any recommendations. I have yet to hear any bad ones, so not really more than overall recommendation to check it out:

Not surprising as Discogs reveals he was involved with several Nurse With Wound releases!

I only have the two Umpio collaborations which are both very good. Both have plenty of not very harsh or noisy material but instead kind of spooky.
I've been eyeing on their collab CD with Blue Sabbath Black Cheer and TNB that Phage Tapes released years ago. On that release BSBC's DDTTNB track is most probably the same as on BSBC's DDTTNB 12" which is fantastic. The other 3 tracks are all marked as having irr. apt. (ext.) involvement.

Balor/SS1535

Those assemblage sculptures he uses on the cover of several albums look very intriguing.  I see also that he has collaborated with The New Blockaders, which sounds exciting as well.

But for CDrs---even if they are signed/numbered---those are some high prices!

How to download? Can I use it for personal purposes?

Been listening a lot to Umpio + irr. app. (ext.) – Observation Affects The Outcome CD. I guess sunday it went 2 times, monday even.. 3 times? This is older release from 2013 that was published by Monochrome Vision (r.i.p.). One could say being slightly older release, it may have just a notch more "blunt" edge to it.
Adventurous, experimental, lots of digital processing (like granular works), modular sounds, reverbs, echoes,.. but the physicality and sounds of objects (often metal) gives it that "noise edge".

Really great CD that survives multiple repeated listens and always brining something new. I suppose single tracks of album is found at youtube. The grand finale of album is this track, with duration of almost 14 minutes:

Recommended to check out!

Dunno. But what you could do, if you were me, is appreciate (somewhat retrospectively, I'll readily concede) how snug the band name fits the sound product(s) on offer. I mean, if ever there were a project to be named irr. app. (ext.), it had, like, better fucking sound like this.
