I know I am very late for the guy who asked for the Hakaristi interview, but for everyone else who wanted to read the Hakaristi interview but did not get a chance to before it was taken down, here it is:

QuoteHAKARISTI INTERVIEW
[ PURESTENCH ]: Hakaristi is a fairly new band, yet I have a feeling
that this isn't the first material that some of the members have
written. Is this a one man project or a group? In either case, what
member(s) form Hakaristi have been in different bands/groups/units
before (or during) Hakaristi?

Hakaristi#1: It is two man band. My only band so far.
Hakaristi#2: same here

[ PURESTENCH ]: When listening to the cassette I get the feeling that
certain part were recorded at very different times, maybe months apart
due to their sound, style of playing and production. Was this the
case?

Hakaristi#1: These songs were recorded over few months in Winter.
Constantly evolving and changing. Message important, "style of playing
and production" NOT!
Hakaristi#2:SIEG HEIL!

[ PURESTENCH ]: Hakaristi means "Swastika" in Finnish, if I am not
mistaken. Are you guys from Finland? And why did you choose to name
the band Swastika? Are there any deep political messages within the
lyrics?

Hakaristi#1: Suomi and surrounding area. Swastika ist life circle of
north people. Hakaristi lyrics is anti-human, anti-christ, anti-life,
anti-anti!
Hakaristi#2:That surrounding area goes as far as ENGLAND

[ PURESTENCH ]: I asked Silent Abuse the same question - Why do you
think Finland , of all places, has a sudden influx of harsh and
chaotic bands, from Power Electronics to Black Metal?

Hakaristi#1: Coldness, alchohol and insanity! Harshness sounds right
to the ears here!
Hakaristi#2:Aye.

[ PURESTENCH ]: During the 90's there was a large demand on the
underground from violent and harsh Noisecore and Black Metal bands.
After some time this seemed to die down. Since then, how much (or how
little) has the demand for these styles changed in the recent years?

Hakaristi#1: Not sure, too much of a new comer scum!
Hakaristi#2:

[ PURESTENCH ]: What do you believe the appeal for this music stems
from? In both playing it and listening to it? How were you (guys?)
introduced to Black Metal and Noise?

Hakaristi#1: Harsh sounds for harsh times. People are seeking more
real music with real message than simple auto-tune polished turd.
Introduced through friends to this sound and no looking back!
Hakaristi#2:ANAL CUNT, BLASPHEMY & BEHERIT

[ PURESTENCH ]: What are some of Hakaristi's main influences? Not just
musically, but also from books, art and movies?

Hakaristi#1: Aunt Mary, Archgoat, White Power Rock, PE, His Dark
Master, Esoteric Roots Of Nazism etc...
Hakaristi#2: I do not like AM. I would say VENOM & SKREWDRIVER.

[ PURESTENCH ]: Has Hakaristi ever played a live show? If not, why?

Hakaristi#1: Not yet, soon we hope if we can find place will have us!
Hakaristi#2:

[ PURESTENCH ]: Any thing we should be looking forward to in the near future?

Hakaristi#1: Hope new recordings out this year after success of last
demo. Tapes and perhaps vinyl!
Hakaristi#2:

[ PURESTENCH ]: I apologize for such a short interview, I'm completely
low on time. Thank you for doing it though. And if there is anything
else you would like to add or say, here is the spot to do it.....

Hakaristi#1: HAIL DEMENTED SWASTIKA!
Hakaristi#2: HAIL THE MIGHTY SWASTIKA!

I should be posting the Anti-Social Realism interview later today as well. I will update this thread when I do. It is one of my favorite interviews that I have done so far.

ANTI-SOCIAL REALISM INTERVIEW All 3 artists are interviewed; Mikko Aspa, Pasi and Jukka Siikala. This is definitely my longest and most engaging interview to date, and it is also my favorite. - http://purestench.blogspot.com/2012/05/interview-anti-social-realism-mikko.html

Pasi's section is fairly short but that wasn't something I wanted, I changed it under request of the artists who were answering the questions. His section was just as long as Mikko's at the start of this thing but eventually became shortened significantly.

(I'm working on the layout just a bit still so ignore the little spots where the text might split into what should be another paragraph or an extra space.)

Updated with a review and a new interview, more coming very soon...

UNTERGESCHOSS: Up and coming (but not necessarily new) PE/Noise label from Finland ran by veteran Sick Seed artist and offizer, Pekka. Releasing the best from Umpio, Choloroform Rapist, Concrete Mascara, Hal Hutchinson, his own side project SSRI and more. This is definitely one to watch out for - http://purestench.blogspot.com/2012/06/label-interview-untergeschoss.html

no mention of Hard and Obscure zine? hope that is still happening.

Really enjoyable interview, interesting to hear more about SSRI. Lots of great things coming out from Untergeschoss soon.

Hard and Obscure is still listed on the label blog as coming out in the future so will be out at some point. I am looking forward to reading an interview with Sadistic Bliss.

Some new shit at the blog, finally. Part 1 of 3 of a dedication to Finnish albums from the past 6 months titled "Omistettu Suomen Kings" (Finnish guys, tell me if that translation is weird I'm not the best with the language). Part 1, this link posted here, covers Unclean and Chains of Death Command. Enjoy:

Feels like I'm starting to repeat myself but thanks again for the review. I'm clad you liked it and hope that others did too. Hopefully I'm able to release something new somewhere next year now that I'm no longer under the pressure of any obligation.
