UTON - Odotus

Another new album.. but this one has some of the latest recordings. Mostly from July-August 2024.
Field recordings with outdoor acoustic instrument improvisations, studio mixing and editing etc. Some other sounds added, and played with the radio frequencies and some other sounds.

Improvised acoustic "ambient folk" music, recorded/edited in January 2025. Mixed and mastered in February-March 2025. Instruments used in these improvisations: acoustic guitars, african lute, violin, balalaika, mandolin, flute, bamboo jaw harp, tibetan bowl.

The material of this album was recorded in Hämeenlinna, 2008. Originally it was intented to be on a collaboration project, but the project never finished, so the sounds were storaged and forgotten for over 16 years, until 2025. "Elonkehto" is a mixed and edited of those raw tracks. This album version offers 2 different mixes of "Elonkehto" - sounding basically same, but having some slight differences.

Two tracks, both are the same recording, but different mixes. Improvised and bowed mandolin,

UTON - You're Not Your Past cassette

Released by Tape Lab (NZ). Edition of "about 20 copies" (no idea how much will be made, but I assume it's somehow connected to the orders). Psychedelic and experimental drone/noise made mostly with electric guitars and synths. Recorded already few years ago.
