After watching this excellent Aussie gig I realised I need more Linekraft - any recommendations for some of his more vocal-heavy albums similar to the live stuff? Only have Howling thus far.

Krigsverk

All Linekraft releases on Tesco are fantastic and 100% recommended.

I 2nd that! All fantastic indeed, especially Subhuman Principle, I'd deem that one an industrial/noise classic. Also the tape that was released by Hospital Productions was great too, Industrialized Criminals History. The track entitled Die Like A Dog was really good, it had almost like a dark ambient touch to it. Great stuff!

Our Earth's Blood IV
Disc 3:
Bastard Noise "Inner Hostage"
9:48

Starts with a foggy electronic of a haunting two tone. Fuzzy and feedback. Repeats for minutes while with very little variation. Though gets more dense with a deep drone , rhythm, and a buzz. That foggy electronic continues and the vocals of intertwined recordings are very high and crackling. Then the looped- like vocals are going on with one note tone with a bassy synth work and feedback. A few different vocal techniques intertwined near end.

I know it's just a track not the whole release but this track captures me highly. It's on repeat until my evening routine. I can be very happy with things on repeat.

Linekraft is fantastic. I think you will like his releases on Old Captain, containing many live recordings: Hunger for Life (many tracks from his eponymous 2023 live event documented on Noise receptor) and Junk Suicide Pollution.

Cheers for the tips! Figured he must use vocals more live. Really dig the more PE-leaning material. Will look into grabbing a couple of the titles mentioned.

To perhaps be blunt, there are no average or poor Linekraft releases. In this context blind buying any Linekraft releases would work given the majority include vocals. Also as another person said, the Tesco releases are standouts in his catalogue.

I ordered a couple live cassettes of Bastard Noise from Eric, practically same track Listings as St.Vitus Bar. I love the concept of hearing the differences and variations of those tracks. I have Live at St.Vitus, and I will enjoy hearing more live tactics of his.

Anyone else down to hear the slightest or major differences in live performances with noise tracks? I dig it.

Some with different collaborators as well so there probably be enjoyable variations.

I guess Eric currently only has the first night along with live in Montreal. I think these will be great listenings. Its cool you released that, did you also release Night 1?

I only released night 2. 250 copies so it probably won't be that hard to source a used copy.

Night 1 and the Montreal tape are both great. I was at the Montreal show, three piece BN line up, Saunders and someone else that I don't know.
