Best vocal Flanger in pedal format

I finally saved up and bought an SP404. Are the vocal effects pretty decent?

Decent is an understatement. It's probably the best piece of gear I've come across recently, sure to be a staple in my rig.

The SP-404 is great.  I think I may have mentioned it before, but it's the only effects unit that I have that can actually pair with my Trogotronic without making the synth sound worse---so adapting it to the context of vocals is seamless.

Zoom Multi-fx pedals have some nice flangers as well, for those who aren't allergic to digital pedals. Fun thing is to use multiple flanger pedals at once, all in one. The result could be messy, but I guess it sure saves some space on a pedalboard or a gear table.

Also just got one of these, but struggling to get a good "classic" PE vocal flanger sound out of it. Had great results stacking distortion, vibrato, eq, and a slower flanger with heavy lag for militaristic barking though.

I would recommend using an overdrive before the flanger and eventually a pitch shifter after it to get a strong effect. Personally, I like to put a Rat distorsion before everything else, it gives the right amount of power needed.

Yeah thats been my effects chain:
Mic --> EHX Pitchfork --> Martial Sound Shin & Aleph Distortion/Fuzz OR the Ratt --> Flanger.

Thanks all for the input. I still want to try a real Boss. I think my version is fine but the calibration is ridiculous. I dont have to fucking build every god damn thing sometimes haha.

Yet to try the FX on the SP404 on vocals but when I played with Mr. Hate Sermon his sounded deadly so I'm convinced.

Little update on my side: a light overdrive at the end of the pedal chain will definitely add an interesting layer.
